Firefox Propellants

This is a list of computed Isp performances, as well as few other pertinent parameters for some select Firefox solid propellants. The formulations are taken out of "Plastic Resin Bonded High Energy Rocket Fuel Systems" by Gary Purrington from Firefox Inc.

The exact propellant compositions are protected under copyright laws, so I am unable to disclose them here. What I can tell you, is that they are AP-HTPB(R45) based. You will have to purchase the above mentioned text in order to learn more.

I have verified that Isp performance in practice resembles the theoretical predictions. However, I can not guarantee that my calculations or tests are accurate. This information is provided for educational purposes only!
